WE ARE ALL SLAVES TO SOMETHING: But we have the power to choose what that will be.
From the ebook 'WE ARE ALL SLAVES TO SOMETHING' A Millenials Guide to Morality in Today's World. Part 7
A truth we have to come to terms with in this world is that no matter what direction we take our lives in we are slaves to something. Whether it is our career goals, a significant other, materialism or God…the decisions we make will be in accordance with where our desires lie. God’s truth is that if we choose to be slaves to him we will receive righteousness through Jesus’ sacrifice and we will have eternal life. Those who reject Jesus because they want to live there life however they choose and be ‘free’ are not free. They are chasing things offered by the world in an attempt to find happiness. Unfortunately for them, Satan is prince of this world…the freedom these people believe they have is simply them succumbing to the desires of the flesh.
